Terms of Use

§ 1 Scope of Application

In addition to the T&Cs of rundum.digital, the following terms of use apply to the use of Postum.App. If provisions from the T&Cs and these terms of use contradict each other, the provisions from the terms of use apply.

§ 2 Subject of Contract, Costs

With the Postum.App application, users can securely store data (hereinafter referred to as legacy), which can be retrieved from selected contacts in the absence of signs of life. A sign of life is a login to Postum.App as well as a click on a link that is regularly sent by Postum.App to the stored contact data via email or another electronic way. A sign of life is requested at least once a week. After two weeks without a sign of life, the selected contacts receive access to the respective legacy. The user will be notified again by email or other electronic means when a contact accesses his/her legacy.

The use of the application is free of charge. By taking out a paid subscription (premium account), the range of functions of the application can be extended.

A subscription always has a term of one year and is automatically renewed. The fee is always debited at the beginning of the term. Payments already made will not be refunded.

§ 3 Obligations of the Users to cooperate

The user's legacy is encrypted based on their login password. The security of the stored data is therefore directly related to the security of the chosen login password. Users must use appropriately secure passwords. They will receive an automated technical assessment of password security during registration.

The users undertake not to place any illegal content in the application.

§ 4 Duration of Contract; Termination

The paid subscription has a term of one year and is automatically renewed unless it is cancelled before the current term expires. There is no cancellation period.

If the subscription is cancelled, the application can continue to be used in full until the end of the regular term. After the end of the term, the application can continue to be used with the free range of functions.

Users can completely delete their user account including all stored data at any time. There is no entitlement to a refund of payments made. Upon deletion of the user account, a current subscription is automatically terminated.
